Harqen has processed millions of digital interviews for thousands of job types, helping recruiters across all major industries automate inefficiencies in their hiring processes, particularly with candidate pre-screening.
Harqen’s AI platform delivers additional efficiencies through automated candidate recommendations and rankings, allowing recruiters and hiring managers to immediately focus their hands-on recruiting efforts on their strongest candidates.

Harqen's suite of interviewing technologies includes on-demand video, on-demand audio, SMS/text, and live video interviewing to meet any type of remote interviewing demand. As a recruiter-first company, Harqen’s support and delivery models are focused on helping organizations improve and optimize their hiring process and to maximize the benefits the software offers.

Our Leadership


President, Chairman of the Board
Stuart has served as a director of Gentiva (NASDAQ / Fortune 1000 company) since November 1999, as a member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors since May 2008 and as a member of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors since 2012, having previously served as a member of a predecessor committee of that committee since May 2009. Gentiva (previously known as Olsten Health Service) was acquired by Kindred Corporation in February 2015. In 2018, Gentiva was sold by Kindred to two private equity firms, TPG and Wells Carson along with Humana, who has a 40% equity position and the option to buy the remaining equity through a put/call arrangement).

Stuart served as a director of The Olsten Corporation (NYSE / Fortune 500 company) from 1986 until 2000. From 1986 until 2000, at various times, he served as chairman of the board of directors, vice chairman and president. Olsten was the third largest global staffing company, the largest home health company in the US and one of the largest distributors of specialty pharmaceuticals. Stuart started with the Olsten Corporation in 1975.

From 2001 to 2007, Stuart was the chairman of the operating board of MaggieMoos Int’l LLC which was one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of specialty ice creams during that period.

Stuart served on the Board of Directors of Adecco. The largest staffing services company, headquartered in Switzerland. He was also on the Advisory Board of the Syracuse University School of Management.

Stuart acquired Harqen in June 2017 and has served as Executive Chairman of the Board and in July 2020 assumed the role of President.


Chief Technology Officer
Mark holds a BS in Economics from Yale and a PhD in Econometrics from the University of Chicago.

Mark has experience in Banking Systems including wire transfer, ACH, fed book entry bond trading, facility management and loan origination. He also has extensive experience in telecommunications billing for AT&T Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular. Mark led development for AT&T Uverse OSS and BSS services.


SVP, Client Partnership and Delivery
Heather joined Harqen as a Regional Vice President of Sales in January, 2018, then moving into the role of Senior Vice President of Client Partnership and Delivery in February, 2020.

In her current role, Heather has been committed to helping clients create a quicker and more efficient hiring process through the use of Harqen’s digital interviewing technology and AI solution.

Prior to joining Harqen, Heather spent 25 years in recruiting, where she partnered with organizations in healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, financial services, and education to create and execute effective recruitment strategies.


CMO, Comms Director
Prior to Harqen, Will served as Chief Marketing Officer at Newtek Business Services Corp., a publicly traded company (NASDAQ). As CMO, Will oversaw marketing operations for Newtek’s various portfolio companies and subsidiaries, which included the nation’s largest nonbank SBA lender, two IT services companies, and a payroll/human capital management solutions provider.

During his thirteen-year tenure at Newtek, Will also held the positions of Vice President of Information Systems and Product Manager of Cloud Solutions.
